The ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking Application is the ideal taxi booking application for individuals on the go. This user-friendly application offers convenience by allowing users to pre-set their favourite locations and journeys for their taxi bookings. It even allows users to book a taxi at their current location, determined by their phones’ GPS.

What’s more? The users can also access and book from a list of 10 completed trips for ease of convenience. eReceipt can also be easily viewed and emailed for each of the completed trips.

Functionalities Available

New Booking
- Booking of current and advance jobs are available.
- Automatically detect current location using GPS as pick-up address.
- Add notes to driver.

Favourites
- Location: Preset and retrieve favourite locations for booking.
- Journey: Preset and retrieve your favourite journeys with trip details (pick-up and destination addresses) for booking.

Booking Status
- In-app push notification for all taxi bookings.
- Location tracking for confirmed taxi booking (immediate tracking available for current bookings and tracking available 10 mins before pickup time for advance bookings).
- Check taxi status or cancel taxi bookings regardless of the channels.
For example, user may book a taxi using SMS channel and subsequently check the status of the booking using this booking application.

Recently the app is having slow response. Having active booking but didn't show, ended up I cancelled 3 bookings and got to wait 15mins to book again. Boarded the cab then pop-out cab is arriving soon. Not sure is app problem or mobile data issue. Overall still easy to use.

Promos (if any ever are given) are counted in on booking instead of on payment. So if the cab cancelled on you, the promo would be "used up". Making you double screwed. Go use grab or Uber. Much more competitive prices for both customer and drivers.

The app size is pretty big at 44 mb. After updating the various locations, the data size is about close to a 100MB in total and has no options to move it to the SD card. This is fine if you have a newer range smart phone but not ideal if you're using an old one. Recommended to use Grab Taxi as an alternative instead.

New problems and weird glitches After today's forced update. ..Took a lot longer than usual to get a cab. Got 5 calls simultaneously to tell me the cab arrived. Taxi driver also told me his app showed he would take 26 min to arrive and kept glitching. .. design of updated app seems to have taken a few steps backwards with smaller unhelpful icons. Seriously. Please go back to previous version while you work out the kinks. I'll happily update back to the old version.

Rubbish app. Booking was successful then I switched to 4g needing to meet the driver. Upon re-opening the app, booking was cancelled. Worse, it relaunched multiple bookings! Wtf is this?? Comparing Grab or Uber to this app is like comparing a Ferrari with a Ford Caliente. Uninstalled!!

Not sure if this app works anymore Started with the best experience, getting cabs in a short period of time. Things dwindled in the past 1-2 months. Took the longest time to get a cab. The only reason I'm staying is because of the ability to use cards. Might consider going back to Grab and Uber. Gotta step up your game if you don't want to lose to them, Comfort.

Poor design, and unstable. Masterpass connection frequently drops. Bad design overall, small fonts, far too many things to pick on the same page. Bizarrely considers itself Singapore's best transport app.

Regret updating Can't get a cab at all after app UPDATE when I used to get one almost immediately. Also, a cab was booked for me but it was still shown as "searching" on my app so I booked another using Grab only to find out on the car that my Comfort booking had gone thru and poor taxi uncle was waiting for me!!! PLEASE UPDATE!

Updates always break MasterPass The apps is generally good. However, the biggest problem is that every time there is an update, the MasterPass will always encounter issue like bank authentication issue or cannot load your card, etc. I am always hesitant to update it since I need to take cab daily. Please make sure MasterPass can be used everytime there is an update. Make me wonder whether is MasterPass part of their UAT testing

ComfortDelgro used to be good, quick response. Nowadays, getting a taxi requires 2 frigging hours!!!! Drivers dont even want Advanced Booking! What nonsense! Please improve otherwise just concede to Grab/Uber

Bad Booked a taxi with promo code and waited for few minutes for taxi to arrive. But driver did not show up and received notice stating driver left and to rebook again. Tried to use promo code to rebook, however code not valid anymore. The said taxi driver didn't even bother to call before cancelled the trip and wasted my $5 promo code for nothing.

There is always server error, especially after the booking is confirm and I cannot check back my booking because it loads very slowly. I even have 2 active bookings that I didnt even book because of the server error!

Excellent app as a tourist in Singapore. I have not had to wait more than 5 minutes. The cab drivers are friendly and the app takes care of letting them know destinations, eliminating language barriers.

Weird issue where after you completed a journey, the app asks to rate a driver. After doing so, there is no way to get back to the main window without exiting the app first.

MOST UNRELIABLE Used to depend soo much on this app whenever I'm late for work. Until today. App logged in very slow. Secondly, app still searching for a cab. Somehow, a cab eventually showed up and says we booked him when we already book Uber after failing to book Comfort. App is STILL searching for a cab. Useless app.

How do you plan to compete with uber and grab, if you have booking fee upfront and fully redeemed voucher (even though it was not expiry date yet). You can't win customer over if you keep it this way.

Slow server, wait for hours to get a server error everything. Wait till you get Uber or grab, reach destination, and app would only then just replied taxi arrived without prior notice of vehicle coming or giving license plate number.

App not working. I tried booking a cab using comfort cab app on my hp and waited quite some time for it to be processed. There was no taxi no. given and it was still "searching" for a cab after 10mins. I also couldn't cancel my booking thru the app. I decided to call uber and my uber ride came,a comfort taxi also came and called me. Up til then, there was no taxi number given to me through the app and it was still processing. I had to proceed with my uber ride because I had no confirmation or taxi number. Pls look into this
