Trying to identify fabric without a tag? Photograph the garment and FiberCheck estimates its composition from visible image information. Use the result as a practical material identifier or fabric checker, then review the possible fibers and natural-versus-synthetic breakdown. Estimated scans are clearly flagged.

Scan a clothing tag or care label to turn its text and care symbols into washing, drying, ironing and special-care instructions. Keep those notes with the scan so you can check them again before laundry day.

Pick a category before you scan and the analysis adapts: General Clothing, Baby & Child, Underwear & Socks, Home Textile, or Shoes & Slippers. The app presents informational Adult Health, Baby Safety, Skin Safety and Breathability score estimates based on visible label or image information and the selected category. These estimates cannot detect or measure chemical residues, verify that a product is safe, or predict an individual's reaction.

Doesn't tell me anything I can't read on the label for Chinese offbrands, and I can't text a third one because it wants me to pay up 🤣

I installed app hoping that it scans fabric. But it scans label where fabric percentage is already written. For me it's worthless
