I used Coinsnap to catalog a large coin collection, as one does. Once I had the mechanism in place to deftly photograph the obverse and reverse sides of each coin, the process of identifying them and adding them to the digital collection became quite simple. Coinsnap is adept at correctly identifying almost any coin, foreign or domestic. It's a splendid tool to take pics of your coins, save the result online, and download the spreadsheet. My only gripe is Coinsnap isn't great at grading. Grabit

This app is amazing. It's super easy to use and gives you info on the coins in seconds. I had coins sitting in a drawer at work and was curious what they were worth. I was shocked most were more than the actual value. I have 7 coins all together worth over $10 and the actual value of all the coins is 90 cents. This is going to become a favorite pastime finding coins in my home or even on the ground and checking their values.

Buyers beware. I signed up for a 7 day trial for $4.99 on 3/17/26, and then it would be $37.99 for a year if I don't cancel within 7 days. On the 5th day, 3/22/26, they charged me an additional $24.99 and 14 days later, 4/5/26, an additional $24.99. Also, they state within their app that to cancel I'll need to do it through the Google Play Store and when I went to do this to avoid any additional thievery charges, it is not listed on my subscription list to cancel. I'm contacting Google next.
