Ridiculously slow Don't bother using this unless you have well over a week before your need the money to go somewhere. Even after going through all their verification processes and jumping through all their hoops with linking accounts they still take days the 'authorise' a deposit when it finally clears from a BPAY transfer. By far the slowest method of handling bitcoin. I STRONGLY suggest people use one of the many better and faster apps out there.
Great Wallet - Needs Mobile Contactless CoinJar has been my go to Wallet since it's beginning, provides everything I need in a wallet except one thing. Would love to see contactless payment capability in the app using NFC instead of having to use a plastic card.
The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars and making it my primary app is the fact all available deposit methods are very slow. Credit card payments as used by other applications would be a nice addition. Overall it is a brilliant app but some improvements are needed.
There is a bug where the passcode is lost when you change orientation of the phone. This only became an issue when my digitizer developed dead zones requiring operation in landscape. And in landscape there is no submit button. Work on your UI layout.
SCAM- doesn't work in the USA They collect your personal info and waste your time with tedious account creation and multi-step verification only for you to find out that they can't verify identities in the USA- which means that you can't add/remove funds, which means it does nothing. They obviously made a conscious and EXTREMELY shady decision to withhold that information- probably to get and sell your personal info.
An absolutely brilliant Bitcoin company accompanied by a great application with a beautiful UI. I've been with CoinJar for some time now and I use them for all of my bitcoin needs. Their support is great and their app makes me happy! :). Please do not listen to people like Christopher Moser as he clearly is deeply misinformed. This is an AUSTRALIAN company with AUSTRALIAN ONLY licenses for exchanging bitcoin to fiat currency. You can be an American and still use the wallet functionality but you just can't use the vertically integrated trading facilities. It's simple. It really doesn't take a genius to understand a company with Australian only licenses to operate BTC to fiat overseas. I wouldn't rate Coinbase or Circle 1 star and call it a "scam" because it didn't service Australians. It's truly disgusting denigrating honest businesses like that. Anyways, give it a shot and I know you'll love it! Just don't be like Christopher and give it a 1 star for being misinformed - he clearly needs hug.
