Stopped me from pulling my hair out! I have an inexpensive Coby Kyros MID7022, a very nice little tablet with great functionality. However, the one thing I hated about it was the default orientation to landscape mode. After several months of searching, I came across this app and by GOD, it is a life saver. At first, changing the setting to Portrait did not work, but that Forced Portrait mode did the trick. Kudos to the developer and much, much thanks. I highly recommend this app.
Good App/Limited Tasker Support I love the concept of this app and as a standalone app it's perfect. Tasker integration isn't that great though which is why I bought it.
great app, superb developer! This app is a godsend for tablet users, especially for the xoom and Samsung galaxy tab. many apps force a landscape lock to the default landscape position. this fixes it by letting you perform a reverse landscape lock. Now I can watch movies, and charge my tablet without worrying about putting to much pressure on the charging cable, or worry about holding the tablet in the alot. Developer is extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with.
Great App, just one thing missing I love this app, but it needs an exceptions list so it could swap back to auto rotate on select apps. Five Stars once that feature comes out!
Had given 5 starts before... When it worked. Not working since my ICS update on my xoom. If that is fixed would be more than happy to give it 5 stars!
Works great but... Great app and VERY useful. One gripe. The checkbox for "Screen off reset" is supposed to "Revert to default orientation when device screen is turned off". My default is auto rotate mode, but it does not revert to that as I would expect. This may work for some, but not for me. One easy for the developer to fix this issue would be to allow the user to choose which mode to go into after screen is turned off, with their current "default" as the default choice (so not to confuse people who like it the way it works now). This is the only thing I don't like about the app, very annoying, but that should be an easy fix. The only problem is that it hasn't been updated in over a year, so this may be a lost cause. Hopefully not. As a bonus, it would be worth 10 stars if this app could use the sensor and auto rotate even for apps that don't rotate by default. ------------------ UPDATE: FYI so you won't do the same: I now feel like I wasted $1.49 because I just found another app called "Ultimate Rotation Control" that will AUTO rotate and LOCK any app I've tried, EVEN THE LOCK SCREEN!
