44kb more on my phone Good simple app, but if it could be stored in SD, it'd be wonerful. Also, if shaking on lock screen could activaste it...perfect! Two stars for improvement
Finally, a no BS flashlight app. I tried most of the other flashlights for my Droid X2, and it seems like they all want permission to connect to the internet, read my contacts, see my browser history, claim my firstborn child, etc.. This one just does what a flashlight needs to do - turn the LED on/off and surrender control if a phone call comes in. That's it. No flashing lights. No Morse code. No mood lighting. Thank you Colin McDonough!
Best Flashlight App The best flashlight app I've used. Especially appreciate the lacking of permissions needed to use the app! Thanks!
Works, but it is nonsensical When the flash light turns on, the screen becomes milky. What's the point in this? When I am using the flash light I want the screen to be as dark as possible; preferably black.
Small app does well Used it with my DROID incredible, and loved it back then. Unfortunately it didn't work out with my gs3. But now I got the note 3 and took out the other ones I used to use. Sometimes I wanna rock the led function only with the power button in dark situations. I can now accomplish this task easily again. And app doesn't lock up the phone like the others did with my gs3
Frustrating All phones with an LED flash should have a torch app, so this was a natural choice. Search for Android 4.0 and this comes up, I assume others won't work on Ice Cream Sandwich. Does what it says, yet my complaint is the same as others... won't let me turn the bloody screen off while operating the LED!! I'm fine with the UI, less is more, I just want to be able to operate the torch on its own as operating the screen alone sucks enough power on my SGSII without having the LED going at the same time. This is not just an annoying issue, it is impractical when using the torch for extended periods of time as some of us do and seriously reduces battery life. Please give the ability to touch the screen, turn the light on and then lock the screen while the LED still operates. If I want to turn my LED off ill unlock my phone, im not an idiot and I have figured out where the unlock button is on my palm sized device without a frigging milky square staring up at me. 3 stars because I knew of this problem before I downloaded but had little option otherwise.
0.2.3 - Torch no longer forces portrait orientation.
0.2.2 - Supports Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Brightest flashlight LED torch with less battery's consumption. Fastest startup.
