EDIT: previous game issue resolved, played for two weeks now, my thoughts are: can be fun, but I don't like how random the combat order is. In most battles, it's impossible to know which side will get to attack first. Especially in pvp battles, attacks can be so powerful that the first to attack often wins. Overall the game suffers from the small 3- character team design, energy/ability design is not great, and offensive, low-cost skill characters seem overpowered compared to defensive ones

As a Beta Tester for this game, I was super excited to play the actual game when it came out. One, it took WAY too long to come out, and two, I saw little to no changes from the Beta Test. I have a huge complaint, actually. I am the creator of a Fanmade idea for Skylanders, this idea was called Final Resolution, and in the game, the Awakening was basically a rip-off of my idea. I was devastated, if Final Resolution were to be a thing, I could be in serious trouble because developers could think I stole Ring of Heroes concept of Awakening. Final Resolution has existed since about 2014 or 2015, I do not remember the exact year it was made, and seeing that the idea I have developed for so long became a reality but not by my hands made me upset. Setting that aside, Ring of Heroes was interesting, for the first two days, but after that, I began to feel bored with the game and started disliking it. It was so repetitve, the actions, the sounds, it was all the same over and over. I did not get to see my favorite characters such as Spotlight in the game either. The advertisements for packs became super annoying too, and everything feels like a grindfest! Even leveling up takes too long, which is why I got bored of the game very fast. I have a few suggestions, however. 1.) Add a way for us to interact with Skylanders more, whether it be a way to look at their backstories, chat (example: there's a button that has dialouge, you choose it and the Skylander responds to it), customize them with accessories and hats, take care of them, etc. Like those badly done Pet games or Dress Up games with similar ideas, just... Without the things being bad. 2.) Add more things to do, like for number one, interacting with Skylanders. Other things could be exploring the Academy, looking at books that have helpful info for missions, etc. Maybe even a photo feature where you could take selfies with your Skylanders like in Skylanders Imaginators. 3.) No repetitive sounds and music, probably adding more sounds (example: the Skylander could be saying something like "Almost there!" when halfway defeating a boss.) and more music, like if you're exploring the Academy some background noise could play (example: footsteps, paper flipping, the crackling of a fireplace) while calm fantasy music plays in the background softly. 4.) Less popup advertisements, they get really annoying. Maybe put them somewhere that won't get annoying, like have a section just for them. I guess that's all, hopefully these changes could be added someday.

This game is actually pretty good and the graphics are nice, but when you play you find out that its very grindy, and you have to put more time into it than really need, you can earn up to 3 stars for every battle, earning them unlocks where you can automatically run through it, but it doesnt just give you loot, no, it makes you fight, and it caps at out 20 times, but in the awakening diamention it just gives you the loot, saving time, i don't get it, its already in the game why stop there?
