Fantastic! Xfinity is a giant corporation that really does provide some of the most advanced services. Simple and to the point, but you can access all you need to manage your account. Just the other day, after they shut off service because we forgot to pay, I made the payment over the app and within 10 seconds my TV and internet went back on! Happy customers over here :)
It's easy to use because it doesn't give any info. I don't need the app to tell me that the TV isn't working... it's pretty obvious when I turn on the TV. I need it to tell me how to fix it or even schedule a service, if that's what is needed. I rated it 2 stars instead of 1 because the app does give me the closest location to return my equipment
App is OK showed more issues than the overseas call centers saw, also easier to get to level 2 support. Unfortunately the service I have received the last 6 months is so beyond the pale. Had the house rewired 2 times, 4 modems and still could no fix the line issue on the poles. I am glad I have a new ISP that has so far provided service superior that xfinity could not. If you want intermittent connection with you internet stay with Comcast.
Troubleshooting is a joke. The app doesn't know when there are problems in the area. Before the app lets you call tech support it wants you to go through the usual helpless unplug and wait 60 seconds step. Of course the payment selection works great.
Can't get past sign in screen infinite loop. I open the app and it has a big button to sign in. I push the button. A web browser opens and takes me to an Xfinity login page that says I'm already logged in. I press the Continue button and get returned to the Xfinity app where it continues to display the same big sign-in button and no other options. I push the button. A web browser and the process repeats. Totally unusable!
This is the worst company and customer service. Charged me this month and next month for rental when I had purchased and turned in my rental beginning of april. They told me i was getting charged because it takes them 7 days to verify the rental. On record it shows when I set up my new modem and turned in the old. After 4 reps later I'm getting charged rental for next month. Had to verify the serial number today almost a month later. And still getting charged. Finding a different company and not paying that charge even if I have to take it to court. Look elsewhere if you want a reasonable company and services to deal with.
