"App" forwards to browser app where you login, and then that browser closes. When you reopen through the Xfinity app again, it says you're already signed in, but pressing Continue forces the browser to quit. Can't get into my Account to restart hotspot, so sucking up data plan for nothing.
Just as the entire Comcast/Xfinity company as a whole, this app is useless! I give it a zero if I could just like I give the company. I moved into my apartments and they have a contract with this wasted of cable/internet non-service. Since day 1 I have had to call, reboot modems and cable boxes, switch out modems and cable boxes and every month I have to do it all over again because the internet stops working or the cable box stops working...this time its both! What does the app do? Same thing a call to customer service does...absolutley not a damn thing! If I would not get charged for the service regardless if I had it or not, I would have never used this pitiful excuse for a company! Don't believe the hype...don't believe all the happy faces, always working, easy to use devices you see on the commercials. If you are looking for cable and internet service, run...no, sprint far away from this place! After today, I may just have to eat the fee at my apartments and go back to my previous service. I NEVER had any problems before! Comcast gets a big 0 all around service in my book! WORST EVER!!!
The app is total trash it's only worked once and never again zero stars shame on you Xfinity.
App has external links but doesn't automatically sign you in. Though, why it needs to use external links is beyond me. Comcast really should get people to test the UI before they push out updates. App is terrible to navigate and find what you want.
A couple updates ago you took away the option to restart the cable box which makes troubleshooting more difficult.
Well I've been outta my old address for 6 months and the app hasn't updated to where I'm at. Doesn't show my bill. Useless app.
