I like that I can easily pay my bill through the app and I'm sure that Comcast likes that as well HOWEVER, it would be fantastic if the development team would also include notifications on the app that notify customers of Comcast's “schedule maintenance" routines. This happens far too frequently and without any notice whatsoever! All services is interrupted for hours during this time.
Troubleshooting moved solely inside each equipment icon. Click on whatever piece of equipment and then on restart device. It will do it's normal self diagnostics. They removed redundant options. All bugs related to me suddenly not being able to control off/on of xfinity wifi hotspot have been fixed. The implementation of Comcast new web page caused issues which have finally been resolved. App is working great again. Thank you!!. Great to be able to control and access all my tv and computer equipment via this app. Also the phone voice controls for triple play. Great app. Great controls for self setup and diagnostics.
This app will STILL not work for me. I've been trying it for about a month or so now and emailed the app/tech support. Did everything they said and then they told me it should work. Well all the stuff they told me was to check that the app was updated (I had just installed it, of course it was) but I checked anyways and it was. I've checked everything again and it still will not work! Every time I go to log in, it opens up in browser. I login through my browser and it takes me back to app to login and then it's simply a repeat process. Seems like an awesome app if I could ever get in it.
I own a 7inch samsung galaxy tablet. It is the at&t version. I would prefer to install this app on it. Since it has a larger screen. Yet, I get the error message not compatible? Why? Either this app is for phones only..which makes no sense. Think this may be due to the tab being non voice capable? Edit What I did was upload to g drive the apk file from system/data. Downloaded to tab and installed. Now it works perfectly.
What is the point of it really? Internet wont stay up, it says no issues, obviously a node is having trouble after days of rain. Download speeds at 16Mbps supposed to be 200. Upload is almost 0. Only option is to send a restart to modem. What about system health or sending request for a node check? Needs more than telling me my account info or my bill info. I know all of that.
I loved the app. I could make payment arrangements on it making it easy when I got paid. However they tell me now that feature doesn't work you have to call in. Making you pay more than what you can afford. Xfinity says they fit in your life? No they don't all bs.
