Glad I dumbed them 2 years ago. I just saw a new add that Xfinity is doing, is to charge per gigabyte for internet usage. Wrong way to go, cause this was the reason I dumped Verizon to use unlimited on T Moblie. Now Verizon is copy-cat them, to try to get customers back. Never go with Xfinity, since they are charging per gig. This is how they rip people off, and try to upgrade, if you go over, or over charge you, and lie about the usage you use. Right now I go through Charter, which is cheaper, but if they also go that route, I'll be dumping them too. I hope many people read this, so they can go the opposite direction.
This company is absolutely the worst. Poor internet service and horrible customer service. Customer service is based out of the Philippines and Mexico. Highly recommend using a different provider. Internet works half the time. So disgusted with this company.
Fantastic! Xfinity is a giant corporation that really does provide some of the most advanced services. Simple and to the point, but you can access all you need to manage your account. Just the other day, after they shut off service because we forgot to pay, I made the payment over the app and within 10 seconds my TV and internet went back on! Happy customers over here :)
As a former Comcast supervisor in the advanced products group this app is basically useless for refreshing cable boxes. It has never worked with the X1 system. I've tried the identify cable box....nothing happens, I've tried several attempts to restart a box when it locks up but end up having to get up and unplugging it instead. The same with the system refresh again nothing. The only thing I have accomplished is being able to restart my cable modem from this app. I hate calling Comcast because I always end up with one of their many outsourcers that don't listen to you. Besides the fact you can't understand 98% of what they are saying (nothing against them since I'm not ignorant to other people's race ethnicity etc) because they don't speak English. Therefore if I do call Comcast I have my contacts there to reach out to....2 vps in corporate a few directors even have Brian Roberts info. So I hope someone from Comcast reads this because they have become business unfriendly. I still recall the slogan/motto they used back in 2005 "We are the company to look to first for the communications products and services that connect people to what's important in their lives". That went down the crapper fast
App is OK showed more issues than the overseas call centers saw, also easier to get to level 2 support. Unfortunately the service I have received the last 6 months is so beyond the pale. Had the house rewired 2 times, 4 modems and still could no fix the line issue on the poles. I am glad I have a new ISP that has so far provided service superior that xfinity could not. If you want intermittent connection with you internet stay with Comcast.
TV guide should only show what my channels are that I pay for. It should show me how you have my cable box and 2 adapters set up for which room vs me assigning them. For internet I have my own router & modem yet this app says nothing is installed. Yet I have to call and give you the Mac addresses of both in order for them to be allowed to work on your platform. The app really is useless.
