Fantastic! Xfinity is a giant corporation that really does provide some of the most advanced services. Simple and to the point, but you can access all you need to manage your account. Just the other day, after they shut off service because we forgot to pay, I made the payment over the app and within 10 seconds my TV and internet went back on! Happy customers over here :)
The app will not open up. It pushes me to my Internet browser. It tells me I'm connected then goes to a link. Click on the link and it takes me back to app page. Very irritating. Uninstalled/reinstalled with the same results.
App is OK showed more issues than the overseas call centers saw, also easier to get to level 2 support. Unfortunately the service I have received the last 6 months is so beyond the pale. Had the house rewired 2 times, 4 modems and still could no fix the line issue on the poles. I am glad I have a new ISP that has so far provided service superior that xfinity could not. If you want intermittent connection with you internet stay with Comcast.
TV guide should only show what my channels are that I pay for. It should show me how you have my cable box and 2 adapters set up for which room vs me assigning them. For internet I have my own router & modem yet this app says nothing is installed. Yet I have to call and give you the Mac addresses of both in order for them to be allowed to work on your platform. The app really is useless.
If you just need to pay the bill, it is a good app. If you are experiencing an issue or a problem requiring human assistance, it sucks. Only options offered to communicate w/customer svc is to tweet or go thru numerous automated options, then wait on hold . Should be able to communicate thru the app or an email. App is lacking in basic user friendly features aimed at problem resolution.
Have not been able to connect to the internet, nor is my cable box staying on. Was told I was due for an upgrade, but they couldn't help me over the phone. Everytime I try to engage the self-help troubleshooting, nothing is available "at this time". And the "zero minutes wait time" for a phonecall from one of their professionals to help me with this mess? Still waiting... 10+ minutes and holding strong. Thank you, Xfinity, for always being so diligent and available to take my payment, and for always sucking at providing decent service... you're certainly consistent.
