Tap and pay is a disaster; never works. It makes you look like a tool at the checkout while everyone watches you fumble with your phone for 5 minutes before it fails and you have to pull out your card anyway. Seriously CBA should bite the bullet and support Android Pay like all decent banks.
Added fingerprint support (update, great!!!) Nice design, fast and efficient banking app. I just have an issue though with the app. Whenever I login, the default Android keyboard pops up when I try to enter my pin. It is a very annoying bug (recent) that I never encountered before on my device (Google Pixel). Nevertheless, I am very happy that CBA added fingerprint support for Android devices running 6.0 and up. The only thing that would enhance the application greatly in the future would be the inclusion of android pay. All in all, a great update!
Tap and break Look whoever tested and did QA on this app has a mental problem. It breaks continuously. No reason but stops working. Moving bank accounts. Don't offer me halfworking software. I have developed software for 40 years and won't release something that kind of works. Bye bye lack of common sense bank.
Bug It doesn't update my balances in my accounts. All the transactions show up but the overall balance does not change. I have to go to netbank online to get the correct one. Very annoying, please fix. (Also NB. The NFC works about 40% of the time only, making it completely useless as I can't rely on it, I must carry my wallet anyway, just in case)
Excellent design and usability but unreliable It's better than the apps from the other banks. The design is very well thought out as the layout and the options are intuitive and easy to use. Plus it's convenient because it doesn't force me to go through the number of hurdles that the other banks' apps do just to login, pay bills or transfer money. Too bad that it's unreliable, as I'm forced to access my netbank through my browser in certain locations because the app won't login. Therefore I've deleted the app from my phone as there's no point.
Works all the time One thing I would like to make a feature is to make it an option to get rid of the tap and pay for some users. I myself am horrible at saving money and the tap and pay on the app does not help me. Maybe have an option to contact someone to disable it completely from the app?
