So far this is interesting. I do agree that it would be useful to be able to access a description of the emotions, and also to see perhaps a list or a map of related emotions and where they appear in the universe. For example, I feel hopeful that a very bad situation might still be able to turn around. However, if I search for "hopeful" it takes me to a very positive area on the map, which is definitely not where I feel I am. It would be nice to browse from there and find the more appropriate emotion without having to open a thesaurus and try to find a similar, yet less positive variation of "hopeful".
Please fix the bug that when you type over a certain amount in the notes then the note shows whitespace in the visit review section. Please make it so that when you zoom out from solar system to universe it doesn't zoom all the way out instantly. Please make it so if you have visit paths enabled and go from universe to solar system and back to universe they stay enabled. Love the app! Make these changes and my 3 will be a 5! If you need more details on how to recreate these issues please reach out!
Lovely, Could Improve Definitely a handy means to be able to objectify emotions. Perhaps adding descriptions, examples or definitions of emotions attached to each star can allow the user to narrow down exactly which emotion they need to distinguish and resonate with in order to overcome. Possibly even attach tips and instructions on how the user can optimize the app besides simply being a source of emotional literacy or a feelings dictionary can really amplify its resourcefulness.
Lovely app! so made with the user in mind. well done. very easy to use and quick. But what a missed opportunity!! Give this app out to all schools and do a longitudinal study following children from start of school over the years. How do they feel first thing, start of day, after first lesson, etc. etc. would give a wonderful map of emotions in different schools, in different geographic areas and in different communities. you could then design interventions like mindfulness, exercise, yoga, concentration, etc. etc. and monitor to see the emotional impact it has. also, you could map test results to the emotional state of the children and design interventions to help all achieve the max potential. The universe really is the limit as to how helpful this app could be for the next generation growing up. but alas, wonderful vision of possibility rarely breaks the barrier of commerce, short term profits and narrow minds. keep up the good work in peace Per Norrgren inmindsight The Algarve Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice
I had to give my thanks for the app. Within an hour or two of downloading it I already have discovered some truly valuable insights into my state of mind. After watching TedX videos then the one that prompted this download ('Why you feel what you feel') my first emotions were good. They were up. After some time, not long I noticed that I wasn't feeling so high anymore. And I was anxious about that, fearful about slipping into the negative empty, hopeless and tense feelings that I've become accustomed too of late. With this app I felt in control, I could see that 'journey' that map of where I was and then where I was headed. But I could also stand back from that and see why this was happening. After feelings of settledness and peace I was then anxious and feeling trepidation for what the next few hours would entail - yoyoing between extremes. Before opening the app I was unsure that it would make sense. Yes there are a few bugs (old HTC phone) sometimes searching for an emotion causes a freeze - it is better to learn the whereabouts of feelings and zoom into them rather search. And I agree with another reviewer that when wanting to zoom out from looking at a planet and its solar system the app can incite frustration as the default is to zoom out to the entire emotion universe, rather than zooming out in stages. I'm excited about these next few days and about using this app to get a handle and to take more control over my life again after a difficult spell. Thank you, developers and writers. With the emotions of inspiration, relief and rekindled confidence I'm now off to work spend an hour or two working on the first steps of a project I've been putting off for years.
Nice cocept but buggy app Doesn't really work for me on Samsung Note 4, the app is just stuck at the opening screen...EDIT: It does work if I touch the font that says "Universe of Emotions"...
