The right one baby!!! I don't get out and play much anymore but found this app to be most helpful. Shot an 85 and haven't played in a while. Kudos!!
Hasn't failed me yet For as many courses as I golf , the distances are pretty accurate. It doesn't suck the life out of my battery either.
Works great It takes years of practice to figure out exact distances on your own course not to mention courses you rarely or never play. This app gives you the upper hand over your buddies in any situation. Some holes where your buddies lay up cause they are not sure how far it is to carry the hazard or cut the dogleg, you have the app that will tell you the yardage to any point on the hole from your position! Also it doesnt take much battery run this app. Everyone asks what app im i using and im happy to say Golf Pad!
Great golf GPS, scorecard and stat tracker. I've tried a number of different popular apps, and this one functions the best out of what I've tested. The only thing that I've found to be somewhat of a problem is the course map relies solely on satellite imagery, which can be sub-par on some courses that are off the beaten track and don't have high resolution satellite imagery available. Case in point: on a recent round, a blind shot which on the satellite view appeared to show a grassy landing area, was in fact an algae covered water hazard (a drop + a 1 stroke penalty). <- you don't get this issue with apps that use renderings rather than satellite images.
Use every time I play! Does everything a sky caddy or anything like that does if your a golfer get this app works like a dream on my note 3
Starting to like this Downloaded free version and used it yesterday. Took a little time to figure it out but after few holes had most of it figured out. Been using Skydroid for several years and like that too. I decided after getting home to upgrade to paid version and try that out. That opens a lot more than I need to play with. I particularly like the larger font yardage numbers. I need my glasses with skydroid. So far I like this. I noticed with free edition that I does suck up the battery.
