Has failed to alert me each and every time Interface isn't good but i wanted this for functionality. Did some tests to make sure it was working (eg less than 25 degrees at 10am) and it worked fine. First frost came but no alert. Ran tests again successfully. 2nd frost: no alert. Ran tests again. 3rd frost: no alert. Maybe it switches itself off???
Just the app Ive been looking for Something to remind me to bring the plants in when gets close to freezing is just what I've been looking for. The only criticism I have is, I wish the forecast was for longer than 4 days (useful if away from home and give time to get back)
Small Font Great app but unfortunately I really struggle to see the data, would be nice if the font size could be increased in size.
Failed From several alerts a day in the first week, I've had none - over a particularly frosty period. Refund please.
Long wait got this app a while back when the risk of frost was zero. Looking forward to some frosty mornings! (Samsung Galaxy W) Now this app is working as I'd hoped! For my needs, it seems very accurate & any questions I have asked the dev are always answered - & quickly too! So now it's a 5 star app!!
Shame the information it gives is not accurate. The app itself works fine, never fails to alert me. However the information it gives isn't accurate. I live in the UK so I have it set for the UK Met office. As an example, I've had an alert all week warning me that it will be -1 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning. I should be looking for an alternative way to get to work as I normally use a motorcycle. But I can relax as I know it's wrong and will in fact be 4 degrees Celsius and raining. I've tried the other sources in the settings and they're even worse.
--added second MetOffice weather provider to allow selection of either Air Temp or 'Feels like' Temp
--removed requirement for GPS to reach more devices and Amazon app store.
