Very good App for birds I like all the information you get on the birds. I use the calls to bring some birds closer. I would give it 5 stars if there was a better way to find a bird I didn't recognize.
Good info, bad user interface Info is high quality, but UI is bush league. Clearing the search field doesn't throw up the keyboard. Other situations where other apps know to throw up the keyboard, it doesn't. Using the log interface requires too many taps. Gotta hit Save 3X! (location, GPS, then the whole record). Gotta choose from a list of locations - once you've been to 10 places, the list gets long to scroll thru. I still carry my Peterson's book, but this helps when I forget it.
Well worth the money It sounds expensive for an app. The hand drawn birds are second to none as only Sibley can offer at this quality. The two books it replaces each cost the same as the app. The app also adds the functionality of calls which is a really fun way to communicate with birds and more importantly, to identify them. Well worth the money and a really solid app.
Fantastic quality app If only Collins bird guide could for an app similar to this for European birds for android as there is very limited options. This app has everything I need for a visit to the US
Very Helpful App Very helpful app as an amateur nature photographer. Can name birds and add details accurately when sharing photos. Learning more about each bird has enhanced the experience.
