Standardized % percentile growth charts Would be nice to see the child %percentile height charts plotted against a Standardized percentile growth chart. This would allow an easier extrapolation of in information. Such as approximating growth spurts, expected adult height if the growth trend continues etc..
For several reasons I keep it up to date. It's got accurate info and keeps me in the know of how my kids are doing.
For a mom, not for a professional If you are a mom wanting to keep track of your child(ren) this is great. If you are a health professional and expecting the percentile results to be accurate for either CDC or WHO charts, they are not. Nor does it measure %ile rankings above or below the 3-97% range as some kids may fall. Nor does it measure wt/lth percentiles or BMI which is the gold standard of assessing a child's growth. I hope they improve it because the idea is fantastic - it just falls short.
Okay but could be better Yes the percentiles are wrong however it is a good basic tracker and has a graph option. Yes you have to buy the app to add more then one child but I haven't found another app that you can actually add more then one AND it's only $1.99. I am having a problem though when I added a second child I tried to put the birth weight and height but it says I can't pick a date before the child's birth... which I obviously haven't.
Good idea, but all wrong :( Percentiles are all wrong. You can keep track of data, but not your children's growth percentiles. That is a huge bummer.
Exactly what I was looking for. A place to track measurements AND give the percentile charts. It's perfect so I don't have to remember the numbers.
