Great product. But can I pay more? I've already subscribed to this excellent keyboard. I like: five suggestions and not just three, my five active language keyboards, left swipe on the backspace to delete a word, that my devices are synched with personal dictionary. I understand the need for the developers to generate revenue to feed their families, but the persistently recurring advertising icon on the suggestion bar is a real negative. I'm a professional and I'd rather pay more and have no advertising.
Unnecessary features Too many unnecessary pop-ups and so called "features." Literally the only reason why I still have this app installed is that it is the only one with up-swipe for caps and down-swipe for numbers/symbols. If we wanted all the extra stuff that you try to put into this app, then we would go look for it. Remove all the extra stuff that is not related to a keyboard. If you want us to see what other products you have, put it in the banner where your ads are now. This does not mean put in pop-up ads.
Daily Summary The stupid "Daily Summary" thing is very annoying and not useful at all. It's literally unneeded. Nobody cares how many words they typed and if they do care, put the option to have it appear or not. Please take this off and don't have it come up again.
Too many unnecessary words There are so many unnecessary words (a lot of names and words not commonly used on a daily basis). Makes typing frustrating because there are way too many words that would never be used. Would really prefer a bare bones English file that only contains the most colicky (see? Was trying to type "commonly") used words. Biggest isn't better, we can always add custom words. I spend far too much time deleting words in the database that I would never use or have never used.
4 or 5 star keyboard brought down by annoying pop-ups The unwelcome "Daily Summary" pop-up is obnoxious, and there's no way to turn it off. Otherwise TouchPal is a useful, customizable keyboard. Please get rid of the "Daily Summary".
I've had it with this app. The stupid butterfly (or better the little round thing, where you can drop it so it disappears) blocked my lock screen and I could not type in my pin number. If they had a paid version where you can shut up that stupid feature I would have done it. But what is the point to annoy your customers with a feature they don't want so they leave bad reviews about it instead of good ones for the actual app.
