My son loves it! I just downloaded this app not even an hour ago and my son already loves it! He's always wondering about "qwarters" and if he has enough. This app lets him have fun and gives him a chance to learn as well.
Fun app for kids to learn about money My kids are really having fun with this! My 4 year old struggled a bit at first, but she is catching on. My 7 year old, who has learned about money in school, has a lot of fun with this game. I think it's a great way to teach kids about money and counting at the same time!
Nice Personal financial skills can never be taught too early. This is a great app to get this kind of thinking in the youngsters. Great ideas, great variety, besides coins being hard to slide, they stack on top of each other and then are difficult to sort. I also would suggest if an amount is even and ends with a 0, like 15.40, that the all the digits in the amount are shown, not just 15.4. This will confuse the younger ones and is really not teaching them correctly.
Money app that needs work I downloaded and reviewed with my 4 yr old son. It says is was compatiblefor my phone but we only saw partial of the program and when playing the games my son did not do so well, maybe good for older children and better on a bigger screen such s a tablet or pc.
Peter Pig's Money Counter I was delighted to see a financial app for the Droid. However, this game might be difficult for people with vision problems. When the screen was zoomed in, the game seemed to move when I was attempting to move the coins. Sometimes it took more than once to access the correct coin jar on the money counting screen.
Nifty App! Very nifty!! What a neat way for kids to learn about money. It was challenging at first to drag the coins, but I caught on after a couple tries. Yay for educational apps! Thank you.
