Interesting app very similar to infinite painter but less customizable and with less features. I like some aspects of this better, seemed to run pretty well, and I liked the brush layout more. However no line smoothing is a drawback for me, drawing on glass or matte screen protector or w/ a rubber tip stylus make slow controlled movements messier than on paper. On the other hand It might be more stable on my device than infinite painter.
Featureless and uncompetitive One star because it doeswhat it says it does and one for the Manga shading brushes which are neat and aren't provided by default elsewhere. That's the only good I can say about it. Missing a lot of the features that it needs to compete with apps like infinite painter or design: no lasso or selection tool, no brush customization, no functionality period unless you pay money. . I mean it is just very underwhelming. Saying what it makes would take all night; just know that you have to pay and ALL it provides is the same things every noob painting app on the market provides for free, and sometimes less. Also be prepared to lose your painting if you visit the store, screen blacks out and have to restart or reopen
A Decent digital painting app for the price of 2 big macs Looking for a decent digital painting app for your phone? Look no further. Corel pulled out some decent basic features for a fractional price. I'm not sure if this is compatible with a Bluetooth keyboard, but if it is [once i buy a portable keyboard] and I am able to bind Keys for specific functions [like the eyedropper tool], I'd dance naked. I am using this app on my Galaxy Note 5 and it is great. Now, only if Corel and Samsung would team up and release a Galaxy Tab with a stylus to compete with Wacom.
This does what I want This app gives me just the sketching tools I want on my phone - my new go-to drawing tool. I'm working in seconds, easy to adjust colors, pen styles, handy built-in tools have been fine for my ad hoc drawings (I'm curious about the $$-add-ons). Stuff I don't need never in the way (important to me).
Slight improvement update. Still not what I paid for. Latest update improved crash rate and stability but rest of previous dissapointment below applies. Not the same app as I paid for. Removal of features that decided my initial purchase are gone, particularly the blenders. Nothing here to differentiate this from every other run of the mill art app out there. Shame, the desktop software only one I use, and is unique amoung it's peers. This may as well have been made by an entirely different developer. Had I known these changes were to be made, I would not have purchased as I already have apps that do the same as well and better. No similairty to the desktop Painter at all.
Too battery draining but... Fantastic tools and capabilities. I've always used PC apps for artwork (it's my actual j.o.b.) so maybe I expect too much from mobile devices as this is my 1st tablet, but it does crash on me a good bit. Pretty sure it's not my device since it's new, but Corel is the only app I added to it and use most. I purchased the full package, and love getting to do initial sketch work from anywhere. I can complete the job in the app or export in .jpeg or .png format easily to finish the main paint work on my PC.
-fixed saving issue on older devices
-fixed crash when sharing into app
-fixed fill bucket crashing on some devices
-show selected brush pack on top
-improved photo painting
