About this app

Electricity rates are constantly rising. Did you know that the price of electricity varies by the hour? Now you can find out in advance the best times to use energy. Plan ahead and use your most energy-intensive appliances to reduce your next bills. From now on, with the Electricity Price app, managing your electricity bill will be much easier.

Discover the cheapest times to use your electrical appliances with just one click.

Electricity Price is a free, simple, and easy-to-use app that shows the price per kWh for each time period. This information will allow you to manage your energy consumption and save money every month.

Controlling your electricity expenses and paying less is now possible thanks to Electricity Price.

The new system for setting electricity prices came into effect on June 1, 2021. The former PVPC (Voluntary Price for Small Consumers) is now called tariff 2.0TD and replaces tariffs 2.0 A (1 period), 2.0 DH (2 periods), 2.0 DHS (3 periods), 2.1 A, 2.1 DHA, and 2.1 DHSA, and is valid for contracted power levels below 15 kW.

The average household in Spain typically has a contracted power level between 3.3 kW and 5.5 kW.

This new tariff has six electricity periods depending on the region of Spain (Peninsula, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla), the month of the year, and the day of the week (Monday-Friday, weekend, public holiday).

How to use the Electricity Price app?

It couldn't be simpler:

❶ Confirm the day you want to check to see the tariffs by time period.

2. Select your area: Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla.

3. Instantly get the kWh prices for each time slot for that day.

Still haven't managed to reduce your electricity bill? Remember that thanks to Precio de la Luz (Electricity Price), and with very little effort, you can save on your next bill.

Note: If you want to verify the accuracy of the data shown in the app, you can consult the official prices published by Red Eléctrica de España (http://www.esios.ree.es).
Please note that the terminology used on the website ranges from Hour 1 (00:00 to 00:59) to Hour 24 (23:00 to 23:59).
