Doesn't work. Outlet never connected. First it said my email address was too long, then it complained my router password was too long. Used a smaller email address and a network work a shorter password and it still will not connect. Found a review that mentioned you have to open ports to get this working every time the electricity hours out. That's not seamless. Returning product.
I was not able to use this app to configure my outlets. I instead used an iPhone and everything worked fine. I was then able to use this app to control the outlets. However, I still have problems trying to edit the outlets configuration... even to change the name. There needs to be some serious testing of this app before a new release.
App is horrible. Just can't get outlets to power off and setup was a huge pain. Not once has it worked fully. Can power on an outlet, then when shutting off, it flashes the power and goes back on. Afterwards the outlets are in a bugged state and no longer respond to any commands.
Configured 2 plugs fine last week on a mixed 2.4/5 network - now after an update I can't set up my 3rd plug in the 3 pack because it insists on me setting my device to 2.4 which is not possible. Also 2.4 hasn't been used in years anywhere... wth?
Worked for a few days. Then, my outlets went offline couldn't ever get the back online. Now, the app won't even open. Spinning wheel of doom. Really sucks, given that the outlets are $30. Waste of time and money.
Just will not connect to any of the Wi-Fi plugs I bought for this app on Amazon. I swear they only sell knock off products. Should be illegal
