Lot's of problems. Sorry I upgraded Only shows a few stocks before jumping back to the beginning. Really no time to read the last one. Locks up the phone sometimes when other apps are running. Would just like to see all the stocks I have selected in the order I picked them in, not just 7 of them. The pro version is not much better than the limited free version. This app needs to be fixed before charging for it.
Most Useful, 1 of a Kind Widget in Existence! Indispensable if you keep a daily eye on your investments. Had a problem saving stocks with Kit Kat and although I discovered a KK re-install worked, DEV was very responsive.
NEW UPDATE....11/17/15 WTF! This was a 5 star app... After update stocks won't work. You guys can't leave well enough alone! Keeps force closing. Installed FREE version... Works great! Don't waste your money, go with the free version.
Stock tape widget Only widget I could find that works really well updates every 30 minutes and I don't have to open up an app to see today stock prices. It may drain the battery a little more...
Pointless waste I upgraded to hold more stocks on the ticker. However, it only shows the same damn 5 then jumps back to the fist! Why bother..oh yeah, because they sell you on bullshit for a cpl extra dollars in their pocket and I got suckered in AGAIIIIN! Damn chinese!
Doesn't tick through my entire list Added my portfolio of about 17 stocks into the tape and I don't get to see all of them before the tape resets. Would love it if this problem were fixed, but this issue makes the widget pretty unusable as I have to log in to Etrade to check my whole portfolio anyway.
v3.18: ability to put the widget on your lock screen (Android 4.2)
v3.12-17: after rebooting a phone or tablet, introducing a one minute delay before refreshing the ticker tape (to avoid conflicts with other apps needing the internet connection)
v3.09: The FTSE Group asks more than £3,000 per year in order to redistribute the FTSE name/Values within a mobile app. I am forced to remove the FTSE 100 from the list. It's replaced by the StockTwits 50 stocks
