When enabled, this app uses a VpnService for enhanced Device Security to reduce exposure to malware. Our VpnService also serves as a Network Tool to filter explicit content and offer custom block/allow list functionality.

Covenant Eyes does not collect personal or sensitive user data from a device and transmit it to any third party (enterprise or another individual) for monitoring purposes.

Ratings and reviews

It was working great for several months. Then suddenly, it disabled EVERYTHING, far beyond what was needed... I can't access any websites whatsoever (clean ones). For every one it says; "This site can't be reached. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG". I can't load any of my regular apps that use internet... movie streaming, my workout tracking app, banking, insurance, etc. Deleted the app... everything worked fine again. Redownloaded... it worked for 24 hours then back to destroying my phone.

All functions are excellent. The screen-sensing can sometimes pick up images that aren't actually explicit, but frankly, for this particular instance, I would much rather the sensors be overly sensitive. Blocks websites, including those added to a blacklist, or allows certain sites added to a whitefish, as intended, every time. Excellent tool for accountability. Perhaps more expensive than some site blockers, but their functionality and effectiveness is excellent.

I willingly use this app, but I want it running in the background. I've done everything it's software will allow to minimize any sign it's on my phone, but a notification that it's running keeps appearing five minutes after I cleared the previous notification. I know it's running on my phone but it's no one else's business. They should remove this notification!
