My lists, kanji grids they are all gone. I pressed the back up button and that's it they're gone. I pressed load data and my lists and kanji grids are still nowhere to be found. Please help dude. Thanks.
Issue with example sentences Hello. There seems to be some issues with the example sentences database and need someone to confirm. 事がす and 事がする appear in almost every third example, usually at at the end of a predicative or a noun. These "forms" do not appear in ANY examples online in the same context as in akebi's example database. I can provide screenshots if necessary. I need to know if this just calls for a reinstall on my end or if this is widespread. Thanks! Akebi is otherwise a great tool and I use it alot
This is the best Japanese dictionary for Android Very nice design, English and Japanese lookup (romaji and kana), kanji lookup, kanji stroke order, offline, example sentences, save kanji or words to lists, flashcard reviews. Basically this app has everything except word conjugations which is supposedly a planned feature. Aaaand no ads! EDIT: A few cons: The example sentences kinda suck - lots are waay to long or use very obscure words. Luckily, this app makes it very easy to look up the words in the sentence. Also, could not find the word, 仰向き
A really cool app. You can use it to learn Japanese applying different strategies and approaching kanji in different ways (in context, decomposed, through stroke order, etc). The design is nice and it's simple to find your way around. Certainly there might be some little things to improve. Excellent app! Keep it up!
HTC One Ok so it has a good layout, thats about it! every time i open the app its shows lists at top but nothing there. I spent over an hour grouping adjectives, nouns etc, now the app wont even work. I am dissapointed as I really liked the layout. However there are many better dictionaries out there. I will stick with JED and colourdict. Please let me know if you make this app better.
By Far the Best Hey, I love this dictionary. It's so helpful and visually appealing. I actually constantly check Play Store hoping there'll be an update, which is something i don't do for any other apps. Only two things that would make this better. A history would be invaluable, as someone else mentioned. But also some sort of explanation about the kanji features? I really don't understand the kanji grid, and it's the only thing without a cute tutorial for some reason.
Everything: total UI rewrite!
