About this app

With Crestron AirMediaĀ® you can walk into a room and wirelessly present slides, spreadsheets, documents, on-device videos and photos, even web pages and apps – all on the room display from your Androidā„¢ phone or tablet. With new full screen device mirroring, presenting directly from your favorite app is more intuitive and with better quality than ever before. The updated interface with optional Crestron FusionĀ® calendaring and PinPointā„¢ proximity beacon support allows for the fastest full-screen connection experience available – no more being tied to a laptop or podium. Requires a Crestron AirMedia wireless gateway (AM-101), or Crestron product with AirMedia built-in: Crestron Mercuryā„¢, DMPS3-4K-250-C, or DMPS3-4K-350-C. AM-100 users will need to install the AirMedia for AM-100 app.

Audio controls are really nule. If you are in a PC the audio volume control on the Pc will be useless, not only useless but if you touch it, it will stop sending the audio to the Creston device and turn it on on the pc. If you are in your phone with the app, forget about it, it won't even send any audio to the Creston. Cero audio. Nada. Last update to the app was more than a year ago. What lack of interest in keeping their tech and apps up to date.

Unfortunately you cannot write a review without giving at least one star, which is one star more than this app deserves. Airmedia, on other platforms, performs perfectly adequately. It isn't flashy, but it is reliable. This app doesn't even get to adequate. The best you can say about it is that it starts up. That's it. It doesn't detect the Airmedia receiver, it doesn't connect to the Airmedia receiver if you give it the Url. I can't test anything else because it fails this first step.

The audio controls weren't working with the projector sound system. There were no in-app controls for this either. All the in-all controls were useless for what I was trying to do. I would not recommend Crestron as a product to display media based on how infrequently it works.
