About this app

Stop retyping the same replies. Save your addresses, contact info, messages, sign-offs and links as snippets, then reuse them when you need them.

Nibit's local features are free, with no account required. Create unlimited snippets and fill-in templates that ask for details such as a name or meeting time. Keep using Gboard or SwiftKey for everyday typing.

SNIPPETS AND TEMPLATES
Use short triggers like ",addr" to expand saved text in supported apps with Accessibility enabled. Fill in changing details before inserting a template. Or switch to the Nibit keyboard to browse and search your saved items, then return to your usual keyboard.

BRING YOUR SNIPPETS
Import supported exports from Raycast, Texpand and Typing Hero. Review the import options to keep or adapt your triggers.

SMART DICTATION
Dictation that cleans up after you. Choose from four modes, from transcription to a full rewrite. Cleanup modes can remove filler words, handle self-corrections, and turn spoken thoughts into text ready to send. Talk naturally, send confidently.

WORKS WITH GBOARD
Nibit is a secondary keyboard, not a replacement. You keep Gboard (or whatever keyboard you use) for everyday typing. Switch to Nibit when you need it, and it auto-switches back when you're done.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE
If you enable Nibit’s Accessibility service, it reads text changes in editable fields to detect snippet triggers and insert expanded text or dictation results. With clipboard history enabled, it can also read selected text and visible Copy controls; capture while another keyboard is selected is best effort. It may inspect browser text and controls to identify the current website. Local operations process text on your device. When you request cloud AI transforms or dictation cleanup, relevant text is sent for processing. Depending on the feature and settings, this can include selected text, nearby field text, clipboard text and the current app identifier. You can turn off dictation’s “Send context to AI” setting and disable the Accessibility service in Android Settings > Accessibility.
