Does seem like try are trying to make it better with quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, after each update, it becomes more unstable, and the improvements work less than 40% of the time. Only get maybe 45 minutes before it starts to shudder, then that becomes freezing for second constantly. Gotta back out and reload it. That can take upwards of 3 minutes. Cleared cash in the app and my tv, then removed and reinstall for no improvements. Premium price for a not premium experience

Phone restarts a few seconds after I start watching a video. It started after the latest update, my phone restarts every time I watch a video using the app. This forced me to watch through my phone browser. Surprisingly, I don't get the same issue using my browser to watch videos on crunchyroll. The app is we much can convenient but I can't use it since my phone will just keep restarting. I hope this will get fixed. Thanks!

Over all the app works pretty good and has a good selection of shows. But I find there is one major flaw with the app. The "updated" or "new episodes" notification is lacking big time. Some times it shows one but 90% of the time I have to click and check on each show I'm watching to see if there is any new episodes. This is definitely something I'd love to see addressed. Also the casting doesn't work on my android box like YouTube does.
