Ratings and reviews

The game is very good, i did enjoy how it uses the parry/block in combat often and how you can combine your skills into a combo. I also enjoyed the artstyle and most of the bosses. the only problem is that you have to constantly sign in every time you play. this is a problem not only because it's just repetitive, but the game crashes alot on the login screen and it's basically luck if you manage to not crash and go past the login.

I understand people's complaints regarding the subscription requirement to play the game. Other than that, the game doesn't deserve it's (currently) 2.6 star rating. Game is a fun, side scrolling, non-linear SEGA style beat-em-up. If you have a Crunchyroll subscription, game is worth a play, and is compatible with with controllers. ✌️

Aside from the fact that the game requires an active Crunchyroll subscription, I find the port to be pretty good. The touchscreen controls are okay, for the most part. I wish there would have been an option to change the layout because I prefer the block button to be closer to that of attack. Thankfully, you can use Bluetooth controllers and they work the exact same way as in the other platforms. Multiplayer only works for one device and requires 2 controllers. Hope to see RCG2 get a port!
