I love it. I'm using this at home connected to my local Asterisk server using G 722 protocol over Wifi and it is wonderful. It is a brilliant piece of software thank you so much. Integration with the dialer in my Samsung S5 is perfect. Knocked a star, app crashes on Intel proc dell venue 8
Best SiP app I have tried I use Sipgate for my work phone, and wanted to run it through my mobile rather than a softphone on the PC. After trying a few solutions, including the built in sip functions, this seems to work the best. My only real problem is when connected to a WiFi hotspot, but not logged in to it, the select routing option when you try to make a call freezes and prevents me from even using my mobile provider, meaning I have to either disconnect the WiFi or log in to it before I can make *any* call
Works fine, but no search in contact list Seems to work fine with my VoIP account. One problem I have with it is that you can't search in your contact list, which is very inconvenient. On the other hand, the native phonebook integration (so that you're offered to call using CSipSimple instead of your standard GSM phone) does not work well either - you need to use its custom integration, but that break other services using the native integration. A last minor annoyance in a warning toast message when exiting the app.
Problem with auto hangup New version +tls does auto hangs up after the receiver picks up the phone. However i can receive encrypted calls from other callers if they still have previous ver. Looks that new ver makes some problem or interprets the config in other way. For months was ok.
Best Love this. I'm not the tech guy, got the info for connection to our phones from IT and was able to configure myself using the built-in wizard. but I can't get it to work without WiFi so I took off one star. IT guys couldn't either.
Once you learn it, it works great, with lots of tweaking options! On the Nexus 6p I had some issues with my voice dropping at the other end while talking, like some kind of echo cancelation issue kicking in to hard. Disabling echo cancelation did not fix it though. But, changing Audio Implementation (Media -> Audio Troubleshooting) from OpenSL-ES to Java seems to do the trick, a great improvement in quality (at least when calling my echotest endpoint; haven't tried real call yet). Thanks!
* Hot fix for android 5.0
* New wizards
