MINA News Agency is the first general news agency in Indonesia which is formatted in three languages, namely Indonesian, Arabic and English. The MINA news agency was officially established on December 18, 2012 which was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Indonesian Parliament at that time (2009 - 2014), namely Dr. (Hc) Marzuki Alie in Buya Hamka Hall, to be precise at the Al-Azhar Grand Mosque, Jakarta. This news agency is also the first Islamic news agency in Indonesia as a source of information about Palestine and the Islamic world.
MINA stands for Mi'raj News Agency which was built with the aim of enriching the global world's repertoire as a form of international assistance and support for Palestinian independence.
As a form of MINA's activeness as an Islamic media, in 2016 it hosted the International Islamic Media Conference (ICIM), in Jakarta on 25 - 26 May 2016 which was attended by editors of news agencies and media organizations from 50 countries. .
