Welcome to the new version of Alicante Bus! Now we have incorporated functions so that you can manage and recharge your Alicante Metropolitan Transport (TAM) vouchers, wherever and whenever you want.

Bonus recharge with NFC. Now you can purchase your trips from the app and recharge them into your voucher via NFC.
New QR tickets. With the new version you can purchase single tickets and access TAM buses with a QR code. Paperless and hassle-free.

The official Alicante bus transport App, so that residents and visitors can access from their mobile phone all the updated information on lines, stops, waiting times, incidents, nearby points of interest, voucher balance check via NFC, travel guide. Practical and easy to use. The application has the following sections:

Favorites: To save the stops and lines you use most and thus access them faster.

Balance Check: With your smartphone that includes NFC technology you can know your balance and movement history. *NFC models supported.

Notify me: System that searches for a stop, map or favorites, receives notifications about bus departures. You can filter to notify you when the bus arrives at the stop in a time slot.

Next: When is the next bus arriving?

QR Code: Line information and estimated arrivals by reading the stop's QR code.

Notify me: Activate general service notifications, such as schedule changes or incidents, for each of the stops and lines marked as favorites.

C02: Thank you for using Alicante public transport! Here the calculation of the savings in C02 emissions into the atmosphere is offered every time you take the bus and the accumulated savings for all users.

Ratings and reviews

The app is logged out after some time and I have to relogin. Also there is no way to use the saved password to Google password manager and, in general, autofill is not available for credentials and this is the most annoying thing about it. I can suggest several UX improvements as well, for example only radio buttons on a card operation screen are clickable but it is expected that the whole line could be clicked to select the option.

Been at least trying to use the app for a few weeks. The experience has been inconsistent. New features were added (check your pass) and the non-Spanish interface disappeared. The registration process was a little clunky but at least the news for a National Identity number went away. It seems headed in a good direction.

Not working as it should. 2 different devices and still notifications and waiting times (4 different stops checked: airport, av. elche,...) not working after latest update. as it is now a useless app and only taking storage from your device. 0/5 if i could rate it as such. [UPDATE - 3 weeks later] please check the "waiting times" functionality. I was in San Gabriel's stop, in the airport direction and it said 12 minutes for C-6 and I could see it passing by. there are many other such examples
