It's good, but I downloaded another app to verify this one. The other is a nonprofit from Europe (European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre {EMSC}) that recorded an earthquake in 7.5 miles West of Evansville, Illinois and 6 miles North of West Frankfort (37.98 N longitude 88.92 W latitude) & 2 km deep with 2.2 on the Richter scale. This app showed nothing. Not Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, no where. And the earthquake happened 1 hour 30 minutes ago. A 3rd app would verify it, like USGS site.

This app is wonderful. I'm highly phobic of earthquakes and any shake that feels like one no matter how mild. This app helps me cope with that fear. I can adjust the minimum magnitude to recieve alerts and the maximum radius of the location being monitored as well as add multiple locations. If I feel a shake and don't get an alert, I know there was no earthquake and I'm fine. If I feel a shake and get a notification, I know I was right about the shake, and reading all the stats about the quake helps pull me away from feeling fear irrationally and let's me think about it from a more analytical point of view. If I get an alert without feeling a shake, I know I'm out of the tremor zone and I'm okay. Just having this app on my phone brings me great comfort.

This app DOES NOT alert you when any earthquake occurs. It was set within a 100 mile radius from my location and didn't even notify me when one occurred 10 miles away. It says "all is well". Useless. Definitely deleting!
