This was once a great app but recent updates make it almost useless in an emergancy situation. Step-by-step illustrations that were self-explanatory and easy to follow as you worked through them have been replaced with videos that appear to be designed for training purposes. They would be of no help in a high-stress or noisy environment. The iFirstAid app by SURVIVAL is much better.

I've been first aid certified for many years throughout my life but have never needed to use my training. This makes me lose confidence in my ability to remember what to do. This app is a great way to keep myself up on it. I volunteer with several groups who know I am certified and occasionally ask me to be the designated first aider after I arrive. I use it before events and when I will be leading a group. That way I can brush up on the most likely emergencies based on the planned activities.

I consider myself to be reasonably well informed about general first aid, but this app allows me to brush up on my knowledge, especially about conditions that I have not come across, like febrile seizures. I enjoy the quizzes, although there seems to be a bug, whereby it doesn't always record your answer accurately, so it gives you a wrong mark when you actually answered correctly.
