About this app

With Hue for Wear all your light switches are always within reach! ⌚

Simply connect to your Hue bridge using your phone and start controlling your Hue light bulbs from the comfort of your wrist.

You can:
💡 Toggle Power
💡 Set Scenes
💡 Change Brightness
💡 Change Color Temperature (K)
💡 Change Color

Next to controlling your lights or groups using the watch app, you can now also add hue support to your favourite watch face if it supports Android Wear 2.0 complications! Use the complication to see the status of the light or click it to toggle that light or group!

[New] You can now also connect to your lights from outside your house by connecting to your Philips Hue account. However please note that Philips limits this to 5000 request per day for all app users.

In theory the app supports all lights that can be controlled through the Philips Hue Bridge, which includes Osram Lightify and Ikea TRÅDFRI lights that have been connected to a Hue bridge! (if you run into any issues here, please contact me by mail)

Please note: This app is for watches that run on WearOS (previously known as Android Wear). So Samsung gear S watches are not supported.

Only way to add the Hue bridge is Via the app & manual enter the IP address, auto connect just does not work at all. But once setup it works great on my Galaxy Watch 4. No connection issues & can fully control colours & white ambient colours.

Good looking UI and functional. Responsiveness can be improved though--not sure if it's just wearOS general laggyness. The cloud option is welcomed as current watch can work w/o phone if connected to wi-fi.

Installed on phone but app would not install on watch, even with forcing sync; Play Store app on watch was asking me to buy it again. Maybe this is a new WearOS glitch, but have been using WearOS devices for 5+ years and never seen this behavior with an app purchase before. Got a refund, will be using a free alternative. UI of the phone app is also amateurish, not worth paying for (and I used Play credits).
