The game itself is fantastic. Probably one of the best economic style games I've played. But the app needs an overhaul. I appreciate the graphics and animations, but they're more distracting than helpful for tracking game progress, and they demolish battery life. I've found its far easier on the eyes and the brain just skipping the animations. I think the game would benefit greatly from a more simplified visual style, and not having the view move automatically.

The app is well made. However it is missing features that would make it more enjoyable, such as: 1. Ability to undo your first action or half action while it is still your turn. 2. Ability to scroll through a game log including money spent in the previous round. 3. Ability to view the map and game log at the end of the game to see where players got their points in the last round and how tiebreakers were resolved.

AI is weak but otherwise this is fine for single player and getting to learn the game. Online, this badly needs notifications when it's your turn, and punishment/stats to account for when people abandon games. On the nit side, the top bar is partially hidden and hard to invoke when playing in portrait since the notch on my Pixel 3XL covers half of it. Going back to Order of the Hammer.
