Fantastic and super cheap! For this price I'm completely happy. Works perfectly fine on my fire tv and nexus 5x. I'm on the free trial but I already can tell I'm going to be subscribed for a long time. I do recommend the free trial to make sure this is your kind of documentaries. I have no idea what everyone else is complaining about, except for anyone having legit playback issues, but I never have
Could be so much better if it remembered where I left off on every video I watch. The update DID NOT fix this problem unless it has not been pushed out yet. I have no problems with buffering or casting from my phone. Slap a Netflix UI on it. Make discoverabilty better. At least make it good enough for Netflix to aquire your business if you aren't going to address these problems.
Ive tried twice to download the app to an android tablet (Samsung Galaxy 10.1) and the app does not fully install. I have wi-fi and have had no other problems with downloading other app's like HBO etc. If I can't use it any other way then my laptop then it's useless for me. If they don't fix the glitches in the app soon then I'm gone as a customer.
The Constant buffering...is horribly maddening. Worth the money save the fact that it can't go more than 90 seconds without buffering for another minute. They could have more things to offer/room for expansion. If they can get better servers or have everything stream better and NOT turn into History Channel or Discovery--ill keep it. Though seeing it's been 8 months and no sign of improvement...not likely. Rather bummed. Such a good and intellectually stimulating idea.
I like it. Though does have a lot of buffering. Hopefully that can be fixed soon. I'd really like an option added to turn autoplay off so doesn't go to next episode of a series and chew up all my data when I fall asleep watching at night which I mostly do. Im currently forced to choose programs with only 1 episode so I don't inadvertently overuse my data by nodding off.
I use the app on my tablet and phone, and the website on my computer. Both work as well as could be expected. Sometimes the auto play stalls a bit and sometimes I have to make due without subs, just like with netflix that is a lot more expensive and not nearly as interesting! I'm a huge fan of this initiative!
