Moving apps over to SD card effortlessly I have a Noria Chromo and I've tried a couple app movers to transfer files over to my SD card. Up until now I wasn't ever sure it was doing just that. But THIS program actually gives you a split screen, giving one visual to see the icons transferred from one side (tablet) to the other (local disk) . The left side is titled 'MovetoSD and the other is labeled 'Internal SD card'. At the top is shown available space on each side. To begin, you hit the tab labeled 'Move to Local Disk" (the only option), it indicates 'Moving' ... and after a few seconds you hit the back tab and you see it's there under SD card. In reverse you hit the tab that says 'Move to tablet' , again - the only option, and it's back to its original desktop. This is a terrific app!
Good app Lists all apps that can be moved to SD card, I like this app its easy to use and efficient. You can do the same thing yourself going into each app and moving them one at a time but this only lists the ones that can move so you don't have to go looking for them
Solved issue for Tablet.. Had an issue for my TouchPad where only certain apps (ex. Greedy Spiders 2) were defaulting to an Android robot icon instead of the actual app icon. Make sure the app is not installed on the SD Card! Thanks XDA Forum! Beautiful interface on this app and easy to understand how to work. Couldn't ask for anything more, and it's a steal!
Still works! None of these app 2 sd apps will let you move to sd if your phone can't already do that, and none actually do the moving on their own; they're just a shortcut to system app settings. But even so, this app lets me finish the moving job faster and easier than using settings. The only glitch is that it shows a warning saying that I can't move apps to SD, but it still works anyway.
Doesn't work with KitKat Suspected it wouldn't, but thought I would give it a try. NOT the apps fault, it's a change Google made in KitKat for security reasons. I'd suggest the developers make that clearer in the product description. I use their brightness control and data widgets and they are 5's
Pretty good This app does what is promises and works well on my Toshiba Thrive tablet. First major disadvantage is that the screen that shows the apps that I can move does not show the size of each app before I try to move it. Second major disadvantage is that I have to move one app at a time. I gave 4 stars because despite these disadvantages, it still does a better job than other similar apps.
- Updated UI
- Added split mode for tablets
