It has become a lot better and more optimized in the last years but there are still too many slow effects and animations bogging down the gameplay and making you avoid certain deck types. Balance is pretty wild and overpowered stuff isn't fixed but you can still win most of your matches once you get some cards and planeswalkers to build with. I'm playing for free for a few years now but I would actually buy something if accounts were not only transferable if they are bound to facebook.

Unfortunately, MtGPQ is a shell of its former self. There's little passion by the dev team. Pull rates are drastically worse than ever, no good reason to want to pay for bundles or be a VIP because the powerful cards get neutered to egregious degrees. I'd been playing since '15/'16 and it's since only lost steam to gain money. The UX has dropped significantly, the UI is bland and bloated. It's definitely a solid game, but it's unevolved and mirthless. At least it's F2P and only has opt-in ads

Fantastic really well balanced game however it crashes so often mid event and then it's a case of emailing the team every time with a multitude if detail and evidence. A shorter approach from the settings menu to pre populate with your info for and tick boxes for the events running at that time would be more effective solution.
