Retain files Ok I want to save all of the video so I can then go home and upload through Wi-Fi instead of using my data
Now it works again! :) After OnePlus One update to Lollipop-based version, the settings menu flickered a lot and was very hard to use (this was a few weeks ago, March or April 2015). But after I updated Android WebView (a system app) just this week, it works perfectly again. Great app, thank you providing it free!
Seems to crash a lot. I give up. It is back in the cant initialize video mode again. No change of settings differemce. Seems like a good ui, but it seems to never actually be running anymore when I want to mark a moment. At that point it seems to have stopped recording and is either unresponsive or completely crashed. Of course I am driving, and can't spend any time trying to figure out why. I may have to switch to a different video recorder, but iBolt has direct interface buttons built in, and I like using those.
Drains Battery Life The app would be great if it didn't drain out the life of my battery. I'd say I use my s5 about as much as any average person would use their phone, and the battery life on 1 charge alone lasts all day. This app drains the battery, and mind you, WITH IT HOOKED ON THE CHARGING OUTLET IN MY CAR in 30 minutes. 45 minutes max. It's become an inconvenience rather than an aid. I'm looking forward to uninstalling the app for something better. I'll probably have to cave in and just buy a dash cam.
Simply the best! I am using this app along with my newsmy nu3001 android car stereo and webcam. This works flawlessly and may be an absolute lifesaver if ever in an accident. I can't say enough about how much i love the intuitive design and features. I will definitely donate to the developer for this!
