Beem using this app a year. The A/C is grrat, but their implementation leaves a lot to be desired. I set a favourite, and if I use it, it changes the settings to some hidden setting, not actually using what I programmed. Every time I use it, I also have to reset the fan "auto" that I turn off every time. Why is it so hard to actually make the settings what was asked? It's not, as a developer I know this to be true. As a user, your app is meh, at best

There are several areas where the app requires significant improvement. It frequently disconnects from Google Home, requiring unlinking and re-registering to restore functionality. This occurs approximately once a month, which is inconvenient but not a critical issue. Furthermore, the 14,000 BTU unit's performance falls short of my 4,000 BTU window unit, which is disappointing. Given the lack of technological advancements and persistent issues, I am hesitant to buy anything Danby in the future

Have to turn on the unit before the app will let you change any settings, including the schedule of when to turn it on. Unit must also be turned on before you can switch modes. So if it was in AC mode and you only want fan mode, the compressor will start and run for a few seconds while trying to change to fan mode (unnecessary wear). App shows 16°C option when if only 17°C is supported. This app is clearly developed from an AC manufacturer's perspective, NOT from a user experience perspective.
