Would like a persistent action bar and scroll down functionality. I would like the option of a clean, persistent action bar at the top of the browser to match the Facebook Mobile menu bar (like cixty's Facebook Browser on XDA, which is abandoned by the dev). This would assist with tinted nav and status bars. Also, I would really like the addition of a page DOWN along with the current page up functionality for quickly scrolling comment threads.
It's ok.. It's basically a browser. you can only comment on one post and then you have to backspace just like you have to do on the browser. Not really impressed. No special functions..
Keep up the good work! Great app ! Excellent idea! I'm hoping y'all continue to grow and get away from all of the craziness that has consumed fb the last few years with the permissions and slick deals with the government. But as you grow there are a few big issues, loading pics and videos to messages and posts never seems to work for me and seens to be the biggest issue. Couple other kinks worked out and y'all while be right on the money. Good luck and keep it goin!
Love It! So far everything I want works even messages. Remember this is just wrap arount for mobile site. When you go into all messages fb tries to get you to get app just hit "not now" and it will go away. Though this doesn't happen on desktop mode. Videos and games play just fine with tinfoil fb and if it doesn't then install adobe flash apk from Adobe developer downloads. This is my goto fb app. Fast for fb app has little more and can even see you news feed stuff fb hides from you.
Keeps Zuck from mining all your stuff This is a simple wrapper for Facebook. It's essentially a browser that loads the mobile website for you, but keeping the permissions at bay. It's just works. However, as of June 2015, the app (probably due to Facebook) keeps logging you out after a few hours. It makes no sense.
Excellent ! Much better than the official Facebook app.... only draw back is, it doesn't always show most recent in news feed. Will give 5 stars if this is fixed.
- FINE_LOCATION permission is now needed in order for the geolocation feature to work (check-ins). Location will still not be sent to Facebook unless you have the 'Allow check-ins' option enabled.
- Use a wide viewport in order to try to avoid images going off screen
- New icon using material design specs by Constantin Eckstein
- Bug fixes
- Please remember this is just a wrapper to Facebook's mobile site and we have no much control of content and layout changes.
