I can only give it 3 stars for now because it won't stay connected during a trip. Always DC then reconnects, messing up the stats, and sometimes even losing data about the trip. Switched auto connect off for now. When I'm able to turn it on again, it's a 5 star app.
Great app, stopped working for a while but their support was excellent. I used version 1 of the app and it was great, but for some reason version 2 of the app would not connect to my bluetooth obd adapter. Ethan from Dash support initially said I would need to buy one of their supported obd adapters. After a few weeks Ethan followed up with me and said that they now had my device working in their testing. It's now working again!
After the latest update I noticed it wasn't logging any of my driving. I just checked and it wasn't logged into my account. I tapped the "Facebook" under Sign-in and it says "logged in" and ask if I want to log out. So I log out. I tap again to sign-in and get the error "The provided authorization grand is invalid". I then tap FB Sign-in a 3rd time and it says I'm logged in and ask to log out.
Just needs a couple of tweaks. Otherwise fantastic! Great app, runs rock solid on my Nexus 6. Some great features and lots of helpful data produced from my car. Would definitely recommend if you already have an OBD2 adapter. Could use a few design tweaks to improve readability and ease of use.
Interface is great. Application pulls a lot of useful information from my Veepeak OBDII device; IF only the application lived up to its claim of saving this data to the cloud, it would actually be useful. I'll give it two stars since the cheap gas functionality works. Doesn't appear that the IFTT interface for this service works, probably due to not actually having data available to trigger the events.
When connected its great It's hard to get connected to the odb port. I sometimes sit for 5 minutes trying to connect to dash. One its done the app works great.
