Instantly froze/glitch just suspicious Dear Dash, great reviews and seems convenient but risky...after I did the whole setup and finger print scan, which always works on my s6. I noticed after I saved all settings the cpu and touchscreen got super slow , glitching..plus my fingerprint didn't work and i got almost locked out, my print access has not once failed, it's gotta be a bug or virus, just informing u for future updates. I know today it got updated so I would double check... glad I only did trial. This app is editor choice but idk..weiry..

App only works intermittently Love the Desktop app and Web based password manager but finding the Android app really frustrating. Paid for premium but despite setting the option to never reauthenticate with master password it asks me every time. Also find that the auto login for other apps rarely works.

Dashlane Password Manager UPDATE AGAIN: Renewed premium version for 2nd year. LOVE DASHLANE SO MUCH I BOUGHT THE PREMIUM VERSION!!! Ihave only have been using this app just today. Really easy to use when paired with the Chrome extension. Dashlane made it real easy to import my passwords from Lastpass and the Android app synced flawlessly. This apps reasonable yearly fee is worth every penny and it has already saved me some hassle logging into Facebook. Good software that's secure and user friendly. Give it a try!

Hello Joseph! Thanks for your feedback. Can you also try to disable the app optimization for Dashlane in your device's battery settings? Does it work better afterwards? Hello Ken! Thanks for your feedback. Are you talking about autofill on websites or in applications? Can you please give us more details? S7 Issues Unplugged my S7 at full charge at midnight last night, wake up at 7:30 to find the phone at 23%. Screenshot shows dash lane using 52% of my battery in that time. A secondary issue is the fingerprint unlock feature not working. I can live with that however. This power issue is huge.

Edit I used to LOVE Dashlane but no more. It is great for storing passwords but it doesn't really work as well as advertised and I don't believe the glowing reviews people give it. It will actually sign me automatically about 60% of the time on my pc and about 20% of the time on my Galaxy S5. (android). Doesn't matter if you do all the tricks and tips they recommend. It isn't very reliable. It frequently shuts down while being used on my Android phone also.
Now I've managed to solve the issue, Dashlane is an amazing, powerful password manager with a massive feature set compared to most. I've purchased pro straight away with no problems, all sync works properly. Will give one more star as soon as the issue with the Galaxy S7 fingerprint reader is fixed. Top product well worth the download.
S7 edge and fingerprint unlock Doesn't work for dashlane. Keeps asking for master password after setting up fingerprint unlock. Update: Thanks for the reply. However this makes no sense. The app launches regardless of the fingerprint. The data should be decrypted with my fingerprint, otherwise that means there is no fingerprint support. Dropping this to one star due to the foolish implementation. Update 2: Your response is not true. I am using Dashlane with the PIN unlock to make it easier for me since Fingerprint unlock does not work. I recognize that technically my master password has been saved and is being used when I input my PIN, which is the behavior that the Fingerprint unlock should also use as well. No sense in having fingerprint unlock and then require the master password, this essentially means there is no fingerprint unlock for Dashlane though it is touted as a feature.

Hello Jeff! Thank you for your feedback. You are right and the fingerprint feature is supposed to work the same way as the PIN in Dashlane. It should allow you to unlock the app, access/use your data and, if you enable the "remember master password" feature, open the app (first launch). It looks like there is a bug and we will be working on it. Okay The app is okay. It's not very pretty looking and crashes often though. Really wish the interface was more appealing and there were more suggested password files because the pictures are quite nice.

I'm considering switching back to Lastpass because it's not possible to use the Dashlane Chrome extension without installing the desktop app so it won't work on my work computer.
Just completely lost all my secure notes Inc passwords for banks , emails for no reason , prompted me to input password again which I did correctly for third time in a row and the app opened as if brand new with all passwords deleted.would not recommend stear clear

Used to be much more user friendly than LastPass but they updated and improved while Dashlane updated but looks worse and is harder to use. Dashlane is missing ability to add attachments to secure notes like images taken from within the app. LastPass offers this and is about 1/3 the price.
Fingerprint/pin implementation This app loses the stars for its lousy pin implementation. You cannot configure how long it waits before demanding full password. It asks me for my password instead of my fingerprint after a day of non use which makes the fingerprint unlock completely worthless. Properly secure passwords are a pain to enter on Android keyboards and thus the app is a pain to use. After developer response, I should note that I do have it set to remember the master password. The problem is it doesn't remember it

It has saved me multiple headaches and time wasted looking for missing sticky notes and sheets of paper AND having to reset passwords! I also love the ability to sync the information on my phone and tablet. The Premium is well worth the cost - especially in terms of time saved; being able to generate secure and unique passwords. I have tried several other apps claiming to offer the same services. NONE come even come close to comparing!
Best Password Management I've used! It's efficient, effective, streamlined, and they don't harass you constantly to pay for their premium service which I'm strongly considering. Regardless, the free version has everything most people would need. I haven't noticed any annoying limitations or restrictions. The only downside I can think of, which is minor, is that I wished upon needing to enter in a new app or website that it auto-filled the website address. It's a bit silly that it doesn't do that. Otherwise, the app seems almost perfect.

Hello Steve! Thanks for your feedback. Actually, Dashlane does autofill your data on the web but only in the Dashlane browser for now. However, there currently is an issue with the Dashlane browser that prevents data from being autofilled for some users and we are actively working on a solution. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding Biometric reader useless. Price is ridiculous. Very unhappy with their business scam that seems to have grabbed a lot of us. Good app but fingerprint is useless as it asks for master password constantly. Can't even use the 4 digit pin. Constant crashes. You better find something else quick because when you get a new phone, you lose EVERYTHING you entered, unless you pay at least the minimum of $40 to sync to another device or get the free referral discount. I would never do that to a friend.

Lastpass has Firefox plugins that work even on the beta/alpha and on mobile... I can also access Lastpass online... My money was better spent with them, feel like I've wasted it. This is prettier but that's it.

Hello Gary! Thanks for your feedback. We did take a different path but we are currently working on an integration in other browsers on Android. In the meantime, we hope you will be able to discover Dashlane's plus compared to competition! Real good Yay for browser integration also appreciate the proper orientation on my tablet. Works great - all my data on all my devices - Windows 10 PC, Galaxy Tab S2, Nexus 6P. App log in is still sketchy with some apps but copy & paste is fairly quick and easy. Fingerprint readers working on both devices. I opted in early and have lifetime premium.
Scam Job What a SCAM JOB. Unless you pay $39.95 a year it will not SYNC with another computer or allow you to do a backup. The FREE Version is totally useless. So your going to offer me 6 months free service in exchange for screwing my friends into paying $39.95 a year. I would never do that to my FRIENDS

https://www.dashlane.com/en/referral Bug Fix Pain in the Behind Reinstalled it after the crashing issues on the note 5 were fixed. However, they were fixed by shutting down every dashlane background process. This means the fingerprint scanner only works when logged in recently - annoying to do 2 step verification multiple times a day - and the app sign in functionality service is constantly turned off, meaning I have to go to settings frequently to turn it on. Again, frustrating as it used to work.
