Very happy with this keyboard but the word prediction doesn't work for my style of writing Finally a customizable keyboard that is expandable! Worth the money paid I only wish it had better error correction and learning from my words. For example, I often hit close to the right keys but yet words but even remotely close are displayed, using the exact same typing on Google's keyboard, it works exactly as I wanted. Not sure how I feel about this keyboard but since I already paid for it, I'll keep trying to use it. I had to write this with Google's keyboard (swiping) otherwise it wouldn't be legible
Not responsive when sliding I have a Galaxy S2, and since the ICS update, the standard swype keyboard keeps malfunctioning and I have really gotten used to it and actually like it too. So, I decided to give this one a try, and it seemed to work great at first, but now it's just not tracking my finger when I slide it across the screen anymore. So much so that I'm just using a stock standard keyboard to do my typing. I get to upgrade in August, but still, I paid money for this thing and it's not working as advertised. :( Tried updating it, but that didn't help much either...
Samsung Galaxy S4 I like this keyboard, but after using Swype I'm having a hard time going back to SlideIT . I'm going to use this for a while, thou, to figure out why I am liking Swype slightly better, but I'm just now noticing one reason is it has better word predictions right from the start. Also, I like that with Swype I can change a word, after already typed, from all lower-case letters to all caps or to a leading cap. However, I like the ability to customize the SlideIT keyboard. I'm so confused... :)
Another shot I've come to appreciate this keyboard since getting a better phone. Sure, other keyboards worked fine on three older hardware, but if your device can handle it this is actually a nice keyboard. My favorite feature is that I only have to slide a few letters for long words and more times than not it will suggest what I want. Other keyboards can do that, but in my experience not as well as SlideIT. I still hope for an update, but maybe it doesn't really need one.
I like it but I've been using SlideIt for some time but it's just not very smooth these days. My phone came with Swype, but I haven't really used it. Been trying out Google's Keyboard (not even available in my country); & it's sad to say that both these keyboards feel smoother - of course the feature set is limited in comparison. I would say "less is more" (at least in the case of Google Keyboard), but it isn't here. I don't want to sacrifice anything, I just want SlideIt back, but Google will work for now.
Voice recognition four thumbs down Well for the last year I love using this app but I have to have the voice recognition software and it rarely works for the last month Samsung update update I would say is the update but it works the same on all of my Android devices voice recognition crashes love all the other features on this app it would be the best if the voice recognition worked half the time.. Would not be able to have written this if I had not deleted SlideIT had to uninstall for the voice recognition to work
Is now available for all, with full functionality and support over 20 languages.
