ExtraCash amounts range from $25-$500, typically authorized within 5 minutes, with an overdraft fee equal to the greater of $5 or 5%. Multiple overdrafts may be required. Not all members qualify for ExtraCash and few qualify for $500. ExtraCash is repayable on demand. Must open an ExtraCash overdraft deposit account and Dave Checking account. They have much better support than they used to. BIG plus. My only real gripe with the app now is that I risked an overdraft at my bank when the advance settlement occurred. My check doesn't hit my account until 8 am. Dave starts trying to settle at the stroke of midnight. There's no way to change the time or schedule a time for the settlement to occur. Hopefully they fix that, too. Then I can feel secure in using all of its features more often. Don't tip. It doesn't go to hungry ppl

They are good for an emergency. But you can not extend a due date. And they have these algorithms systems that control your checking account, so if you don't have the 30 dollars to cover your balance they run your card every 1 second to either charge your card the minimum 5 dollars or as soon as soon as you deposit more than the 25 remaining balance they charge you. Do this service if it's only your last backup. they have total control over your account.

On the upside, approval and advance are quick if you qualify. No direct deposit is required, which is essential for self-employed, most gig workers, freelancers, etc. No "earn points" type gimmicks. Downside: fees are EXTREMELY high. What you can borrow gets split in two categories, which they use as an excuse to charge their already-high fees twice. The app itself is also a bit confusing. Not awful, but look for cash advance apps w lower fees before going here.

What’s new

Bears love nature and that usually includes bugs. Not me though. I can’t stand them. So this release, I tracked a few down and kicked them out.
