Good concept, but... It needs more in it's database. I finally found things that worked, but they were less common.
Informed Consumer This app let's you know how sustainable a product is just by scanning the barcode. It is great helping you do your part to protect our planet!
I really love this app it makes things a heck of a lot easier when I'm shopping and want to avoid bad products. But peta is honestly not the most reliable source when it comes to animal testing issues. They are an incredibly problematic organization in themselves that objectify women, has countless records of killing animals in their own shelters for no reason and shame any human interaction with animals whether it's harmless or not (even if it's beneficial to the animal)
Responsive, but incomplete A great concept that I'm glad exists. The app itself is fast and responsive, and gives a decent and quick overview of the products. It needs more codes added, as lots of things don't scan, or scan but don't come up entirely accurate. I would love to see this app become more widely used. Keep improving it and I believe it could catch on!
Yay! Finally! So glad to have found this app! Was getting seriously bogged down with doing all the research myself. Looking forward to expansion of the database to include barcodes not currently known.
Still figuring it out, wish it would give you a bit more description for some categories, but overall is great!
