Missing a few things. When I first downloaded the app, I was excited to have something manageable and easy to access without having to use a computer. Don't get me wrong, its easy to use and great all around. But I was supposed to look at some forms and look at my profile to update it and there aren't tabs for that! There are only tabs for the Wages, Schedule, etc. And none to edit the profile, no Me tab, and certainly no Forms tab like on the website. I still had to get to a computer after a good hour of searching.
Lacks Depth You just can't do enough with the app. It's okay for checking your schedule and then that's it. I should be able to do everything I can online through the app. Add/adjust availability, make shifts available, trade shifts, accept shifts, etc. Both the website and the app need notification options for when a shift is made available. I should either get a notification via the app on my phone and/or an email to my personal account. What else can I say other than more is better!
Great App used by employers Its really helpful. I dont have to take photos of my schedule anymore because its on my phone and it updates so I will know immediately if something comes up. Its convenient, reliable and a great tool for work. All the things I would have to manually do at work like request days off or change my availability i can do that on my phone. I can keep track of my hours and be prepared for more. I kinda wish more employers used this in their stores.
It accesses your private data By inastalling this you are granting access to YOUR CONTACTS, your LOCATION, your WIFI CONNECTION, your MEDIA FILES, and your PERSONAL CALENDAR. There may be more that I failed to mention. Do you want your employer to have that much access to your personal life? I encourage you to use the web interface even though it has a massive upfront load that takes a long time to load. At least you are not opening your private life to your employer.
Makes my life easy. I had to take a picture of my scheduel before or take note of when I had to work the next day. And I get to see my AR, hours worked for the benefit period and so forth. The only thing that would be nice would be a rough estimate of what you will be getting paid for that pay period of maybe just under the total hours worked per a week on the time sheet. All the material is there I mean I filled out my W4 on the website and it also knows my pay rate.
Day Force This is my first time with a company that uses this app. It's pretty awesome! At a glace, it shows me my next schedule day as soon as I log in. Further in, it lets me see the rest off my schedule, let's me request time off, and shows me my hours that I've worked for confirmation. It's a simple app, but so far no complaints!
