I think really great work if this apps working.
It's a completely new app, and it seems to be far better designed. The Big Question is whether they can get cabbies to use it. If they can, this'll be a great alternative to Uber - one that doesn't undercut meter rates.
It never shows available taxis. I would use it instead of Uber and Lyft if I could actually SEE where taxis are.
Sign up is difficult because the screen isn't optimized to fit correctly, with the input prompts hidden under the keyboard. The map doesn't center very well, being several dozen meters off of my GPS' actual location. Available taxis don't all show; I can hail a cab more readily. Entering a destination only pulls from city datasets... so if you enter "Pinch" to go to the bar it'll instead send you to Pinch, WV. But none of this matters because when you press the button to hail the cab you get an error that it failed to initialize and you can't actually hail anything.
It's laughable... Doesn't center on your location. Location is inaccurate. Clearly isn't picking up most cabs. This is the best they could do in the year it took them to put out this app? Pathetic.
It could be so much better This app doesn't seem to be showing all of the taxis available, maybe it only shows the drivers with the app? The wait time estimates seem very off. A driver from across town was only 2 minutes away? Not possible.
