The good news: -Cabbies are using it now. If you want to book a cab, you have a far better chance of doing so with this rather than with Uber taxi. -The app now does actually locate you pretty quickly. The bad news; -Payment still isn't set up. C'mon. -App still doesn't actively notify you when a cab accepts tour ride request. This is frustrating and has led me to inadvertently cancel accepted rides, simply because I didn't know they'd been accepted. It's getting there. But it's needs to be better to appeal to a broader group than people with ideological or safety objections to Uber.
This app is ass. Every cab I've tried has canceled after making me wait 30+ mins. I'm like 0/20
I think really great work if this apps working.
It never shows available taxis. I would use it instead of Uber and Lyft if I could actually SEE where taxis are.
Sign up is difficult because the screen isn't optimized to fit correctly, with the input prompts hidden under the keyboard. The map doesn't center very well, being several dozen meters off of my GPS' actual location. Available taxis don't all show; I can hail a cab more readily. Entering a destination only pulls from city datasets... so if you enter "Pinch" to go to the bar it'll instead send you to Pinch, WV. But none of this matters because when you press the button to hail the cab you get an error that it failed to initialize and you can't actually hail anything.
It's laughable... Doesn't center on your location. Location is inaccurate. Clearly isn't picking up most cabs. This is the best they could do in the year it took them to put out this app? Pathetic.
