Kaushal Aapti is a technology enabled application developed by NIRDPR. It is an app to match rural youth’s interest with jobs that they can get skilled in. The app is developed based on the John Holland Interest Inventory as recommended in the DDU-GKY Standard Operating Procedures. It is enabled with three level aptitude checks (numeracy, English language, pattern and colour recognition). It has been integrated with other DDUGKY platforms such as Kaushal Panjee and Kaushal Bharat Applications.
Advantages:
1. It is entirely picture based and supported by text and audio for the ease of candidates
2. It has multi-lingual support to help rural candidates easily navigate the application
3. It is a scientific tool for counselling, with briefing for rural candidates and DDUGKY counsellors
4. It provides a national level Skill Interest Inventory of the beneficiaries
